Meet the Composer Commission – Three City Dash

Yu-Hui is one of the six commissioned composers in Meet The Composer’s one-time-only festival, Three City Dash, an event which commemorates the launch of the Meet The Composer Studio.  In April 2011, three concerts in three different venues in New York City will feature world premieres of new works written by composers from three cities: Boston, Chicago, and San Francisco.  Yu-Hui is to write a piece combining both Chinese and Western instruments for Music from China.  Check out Meet The Composer Studiowebsite for event details and frequent updates.
